Welcome to the
Red Hook Pool
Located in beautiful Dutchess County in the Hudson Valley.

The Recreational Park of Red Hook, Inc., (AKA Red Hook Pool) was incorporated as a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization in 1968 with an active group of Red Hook residents dedicated to making the pool a reality!  Norman and Frances Thomson sold the land to the organization to create the pool facility.  Fundraising ensued and the pool opened for the first pool season in 1969.  The pool has been successfully operating since that time and continues to be a vibrant community center.  In the 1990s, the official pool organization, Red Hook Recreational Park, Inc., sold the land surrounding the pool facility to the Town of Red Hook for its use of the current fields, playgrounds, pavilion, tennis courts and walking trails.  The Red Hook Pool is a separate entity from the Town of Red Hook and continues to be a membership-based, non-profit organization.  We hope you'll join us to be part of our unique history!
